The Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society will host a bonsai workshop on Saturday, July 20th, at 609 17th Street East, West Fargo, from 1 PM to 4 PM.

The featured tree will be juniper procumbens "nana." This tree is recognizable as what most see sold in supermarkets and discount outlets. It is an OUTDOOR bonsai. The workshop includes tree, soil, wire, a ceramic bonsai pot, and some tools. Please bring a bypass pruner if you have one. There are only 6-8- openings, depending on the availability of good material. Workshop fees are $30 to $35 depending on the cost of the trees.
